Interview with @figrinsam
Q: How long have you been a toy photographer?
A: I’ve been photographing toys for probably close to 5 years. I had a page before this one which is no longer active.
Q:What got you started in toy photography?
A: I remember one day just deciding to photograph my Lego star wars force awakens Minifigures and then I caught the bug from then on
Q: What is your favorite figure to shoot and why?
A: I love my Hasbro star wars black series figures they’re so detailed and now that the face paint is gotten better they’re really my favorite photography subjects. I plan to upload many more photos featuring them.
Q: What is your favorite place to take photos?
A: I prefer outside when I can in the garden but I’d like to expand and start going to different locations and photograph wider more expansive scenes. Shooting indoors is something I do if I think I can get the right scene set up.
Q: What’s the weirdest thing that has ever happened during a photo shoot?
A: Weirdest thing is probably just figures constantly falling over and wind hitting them at the exact point I press the shutter button.
Q: If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?
A: I’d have to go with force powers. The ability to grab something far away while remaining on the couch sounds fantastic. Probably tells you a lot about me 🤣
