An interview with @densetsunob

Q: How long have you been a toy photographer?
A: I started taking photos to toys around 3 years ago, but I was really a newbie, it was basically simple photos.
Q: What got you started in toy photography?
A: I started to see some photos on Instagram and I was really overwhelmed. I tried my best to improve and also find my own style, since I believe that every photographer has it’s unique style. I failed a lot, I was lacking experience, but it came with time, practice and patience. The thing I like the most in toy photography is that you’re able to create your own world, with many well known characters from Mangá, comics, movies, gaming, etc…
Q: What is your favorite figure to shoot and why?
A: That’s a tricky question, I would say that right now, I’m having a lot of fun with Deathstroke from Revoltech, but I still didn’t take THAT photography that makes me say “this is the one.” I honestly like the figure a lot because it’s so versatile, it has a lot of articulation a movement, you can do basically anything with it.
Q: What is your favorite place to take photos?
A: I love to take photos outside, unfortunately in the region I live there aren’t any good place to take photos and where I feel I can do it peacefully and also feel concentrated. So, usually I do it on my living room.
Q: What’s the weirdest thing that has ever happened during a photo shoot?
A: I don’t know if it’s considered weird, but one time I was cooking and completely forgot about what I had in the oven, while I was taking photos. Long story short, I had to go eat somewhere at the mall.
Q: If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?
A: That’s a hard one, I could use many, but as a huge Naruto Fan, probably being able to make many clones of myself would be really useful.
